About The Firm
A law and consulting practice combining experience gained across the Turkish bureaucracy and academia with a private-sector perspective.
marvas legal was established in Ankara in 2023. The practice is built on combining seventeen years of experience across different levels of the Turkish bureaucracy and academia with a private-sector perspective.
At the centre of its work sits a single question: how capital and data move through a digitalising economy. Secured transactions law and technology law are therefore handled under one roof; they are two faces of the same problem.
The firm provides solution-oriented service tailored to client needs across technology law, e-commerce, SME financing, modern secured transactions law, creative industries, data protection, e-gaming, and mergers and acquisitions of digital companies.
Having worked in both domestic and foreign trade departments allows matters to be approached holistically. Every stage from the incorporation of a start-up through to export can be handled with the same perspective.
The service range spans an unusually wide field: from chamber and commodity exchange law to electronic commerce, from SME access to finance to secured transactions reform, from technology law to the creative industries.
Active involvement in policy-making processes makes it possible to address the private sector's gaps in Ankara through the transfer of that experience.
EU instruments including the AI Act, Data Act, Digital Markets Act (DMA), Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Platform-to-Business (P2B) Regulation are monitored closely, and both public authorities and businesses are advised on compliance with them.
Drawing on relationships established during the founder's posting as Commercial Counsellor in Riyadh, work continues on developing ties with the Gulf states and sourcing investors for digital and gaming companies.
